I have enjoyed discovering ‘justice’ throughout the Bible. It’s interesting that when you start looking for a specific thing in the Bible you begin to see it all over the place, when before, you didn’t really notice it so much. Here are some verses that I think reveal God’s heart for justice . . .
God loves justice. “He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD” (Psalm 33:5). “For the LORD loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off” (Psalm 37:28). “The King in his might loves justice. You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob” (Psalm 99:4). “For I the LORD love justice; I hate robbery and wrong” (Isaiah 61:8a).
Justice is so important to God that he established his throne on it! “But the LORD sits enthroned forever; he has established his throne for justice” (Psalm 9:7). “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you” (Psalm 89:14). “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne” (Psalm 97:2b).

Be encouraged by this great verse . . .
“Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him” (Isaiah 30:18).
