Recognizing and Identifying Victims of Human Trafficking

After my last post about reporting slavery, I thought it might be helpful to know what to look for in order to identify and report an incident of slavery.  Again, the National Human Trafficking Resource Center supplies some important and useful information for this.  Their list of Potential Trafficking Indicators gives some “red flags” to look for in identifying a potential trafficking situation.  Understanding Victims’ Mindsets is also a helpful document to refer to in order to recognize a victim of human trafficking as well as barriers that make it difficult to identify them.  Please take a look at these informative resources.  You may be able to help save someone from slavery.

Again, the US Human Trafficking Hotline is:  1-888-3737-888.
