Slavery Map & Reporting Slavery

If you suspect someone is a victim of modern-day slavery and human trafficking, you can do something about it.  You can call the US Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-3737-888.  This will put you in touch with the National Human Trafficking Resource Center, a program of Polaris Project, where you can make a report of a potential trafficking situation.

Check out the NHTRC resource page for helpful information about human trafficking, common myths about human trafficking, and much more. And for lots more information and an overview about human trafficking, check out this page.

Slavery Map, a project of the Not For Sale Campaign, “exists to record and display instances of human trafficking across the globe.”  You can use this map to report slavery as well as see places where reports have been verified.

Slavery Map does make this note: “If you encounter a current situation of bondage, do not enter the information here. Please immediately call the US national trafficking hotline number so that the proper law enforcement and service providers can be alerted: 1-888-3737-888.”
